Monica and Jenna
It is showing that our finacial focus is on the Vietnam War. Many American suffered from urban poor conditions while we spent a majority of our money one making machinery for the war. In the picture the "Vietman War" is big and rich when the "U.S Urban Needs" is ragedy and poor. As you can see the Administration is holding arms with the Vietnam War while trying to act like everything is okay with the U.S.

Something to think about....
During times of war, many people refer to soldiers killed during battles as "collateral damage". Newcasters and others have, at times, tried to keep the American public in the dark about the loss of human life. But for many, Vietnam was the first time they saw, in full color and sound, what it was like near the front lines.
Here are some thoughts to ponder....Do you think the loss of American troops was worth what was gained there? What was the impact of images from Vietnam on the American public?
